Personal Information We Collect

Liveweb will collect, use and disclose your personal information only with your knowledge and consent, except where permitted or as required by law or defined in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information about you when you (1) register to use the Services and (2) otherwise provide contact information to us via email, mail or phone call. This information you provide may include your username, first and last name, company name, email address and a phone number. This information is needed to use our Services.

Additionally, when you subscribe or attempt to subscribe to our Services, we collect certain information from you, including your name, company name and payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Payment Information.”

When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, Internet Protocol (IP) address, screen resolution, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse our Services, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our Services and information about how you interact with our Services. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit this site.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on our Services, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse our Services. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Payment Information.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the Payment Information that we generally collect to fulfill any payments placed through the Services (including processing your payment information and providing you with invoices and/or purchase confirmations).

Additionally, we use this Payment Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our subscriptions for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

When you subscribe to our Services any credit card information you provide as part of your Payment Information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor Stripe through their Stripe Checkout service. Stripe may use your Payment Information under their Privacy Policy.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Services (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Services, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Services–you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or otherwise to protect our rights.

Behavioural Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page here.

Additionally, you can opt-out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at http://optout.aboutads.info/.

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide the Liveweb Application with access to the following types of your Google data, the Application’s use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions: The Application will only use access to read, write, modify or control Google Calendar events, metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web meeting client that allows users to appoint meetings, send, read, and process events and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

The Application will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.

The Application will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the App’s internal operations and even only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you subscribe to our Services), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Data Storage and Retention

The Personal Information we collect is stored securely on DigitalOcean LLC.

When you subscribe to our Services, we will maintain your Payment Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. We will retain your Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a higher retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

When we have no legitimate business interest to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. Or, if this is not possible, for example, because your Personal Information is in backup archives, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
